Multiple BOM's on one drawing

Multiple BOM's on one drawing

Multiple BOM's on one drawing

(OP)
I want to show multiple BOM's on one drawing, but when i do the system says balloon creation is not supported with multi models.

I don't want to create my balloons manually because if a part is added to a model it will change the item # seq. and the created balloons could be wrong since they are not parametric.

Does anyone deal with this

RE: Multiple BOM's on one drawing

You must use ballons with quantity or custom ballons.

RE: Multiple BOM's on one drawing

Hi Kumarm2,

If you add a second sheet in the drawing you can different BOM's, just rememeber to set the next assembly first before you add the next sheet, if not the bom table will pick up the same BOM.  You may then copy this table to the first sheet but I do not think you will get live balloons.  I would just stay with the second sheet and balloon from there.

RE: Multiple BOM's on one drawing

Hi KumArm2,

 1. When you say you want to show multiple BOM'S you meen that you have 2 models for one drawing or diffrent simp. REP. if the answer is yes - you can show only the active model balloons.
 2. If the case is showing the same balloon many times in diffrent location you have use the option of showing balloons
by QTY.

Good Luck
