Importing AutoCad drawings into Mathcad

Importing AutoCad drawings into Mathcad

(OP)
Hi all,

This is not a question it is a solution to a problem I have had for quite some time.  I hope it helps.  When importing AutoCad drawings into Mathcad The lineweight would either be so fine it would not reproduce well or it would be so heavy that things became unreadable.

I recently discovered that you can get control of how lineweights appear when importing from AutoCad by turning everything you possibly can into a polyline and assigning widths rather than using line weights.  For text just use a heavier font like arial. Bu sure to keep your assigned lineweights on layers set to "default".

Maybe this is in the manual somewhere and I just missed it.

Good one, dpa.  I've also found it a bit of a nuisance.  It will probably also work in apps like Excel as well.
