Solid Edge Viewer Background

Solid Edge Viewer Background

Solid Edge Viewer Background

(OP)
When using V16, we issued the SE Viewer to our Engineering (those not with SE)& Purchasing Department personnel. It worked out pretty well. That is, until we switched to V17.

Now the background comes up as gray-ish and is very hard to read. Especially when a hard copy is printed on a laser printer.

Is there a way to set the background to WHITE? Or if not, will Solid Edge be addressing this issue in future revisions?

RE: Solid Edge Viewer Background

Which background are you refering to?  The viewer?  The draft file?

Applications use Windows colour scheme for its background (if you set your desktop colour to black, application's backgrounds will be blackm, not all though).  Maybe try playing around this.

Also, when printing tell it to print all colours black.  Might help.

The other thing it might be is that is Solid Edge Draft, the text is usally a default green colour.  Maybe if you change this to black it might help in the viewer (but the guys working in SE might not like it black, harder to read for them).
