Gas turbine exhaust design P- NFPA or ASME?
Gas turbine exhaust design P- NFPA or ASME?
(OP)
Can anyone advise if the NFPA or ASME has formulated guidelines for design pressure requirements downstream of a gas turbine that is capable of being isolated by dampers or which may experience a "puff" during purges?
I recall that in the case of coal pulverizers, the mills and associated equipment must be suitable for a 50 psig puff, perhaps with margins reduced from nornmal allowable stresses. Is tehre an equivalent rule of thumb for gas turbines?
