Roof x-bracing

Roof x-bracing

(OP)
I'm looking for typical connection details for rod or cable x-bracing for metal roofs (over 2x wood purlins over wood trusses)with unrated shear capacity for lateral loads. Bay spacing is 16'. Dwg, dxf, or pdf format details would be great. Roof pitch is 3:12. Trusses are 8' o.c. so rods will pass through (or over the top of) the intermediate trusses in order to keep them at roughly 45 degrees to the load. I'm also fuzzy on what level the braces should be at  -  top of purlins, top of trusses, what?
