Hyperlinks inside drawings problem.

Hyperlinks inside drawings problem.

Hyperlinks inside drawings problem.

Okey.  I have assembled a Template File that has pretty much all the information needed to start a new job (layers, dimstyles, plotstyles, page setups, sections, notes, etc etc etc)

Additionally, i made a text chart with a listing of all the categories in our details bank.  The items in this chart are hyperlinked to the correct file so when you click it, it opens up the details file (for example, i click on footers, and it opens up the footers file and i can pick the appropriate footer for the job)

Everything works Great on the template file, but as soon as i save as into the destination folder (ie. job 217) then none of the hyperlinks work, they all say "hyperlink destination cannot be found"

Im stumped. any suggestions?

RE: Hyperlinks inside drawings problem.

Are you using full paths in the hyperlinks?  Or relative paths?

RE: Hyperlinks inside drawings problem.

Type HYPERLINK
at the bottom of the popup is, as IFR noted, a "relative path for hyperlink" check box. Uncheck it.
