Corrosion Protection

(OP)
Hi,
Currently working to eleveate a proble which has been occuring with some downhole tools. Some of the components have threaded holes and plugs set on there outside diameter, What I am looking for is an effective method of, protectiong these areas, but not permantly sealing them off as acces is required. one suggestion I have heard is to use a molton wax to fill the cavity's and this will act as a tempory barrier?? anybody go tany other possible solutions??

Cheers

RE: Corrosion Protection

You could try any of the commercially available dip-seal type products, or, if strength is a consideration gauge calibration people use a type of wax that is much harder to remove than a candle wax.
