Has anybody had any difficulty using PDM works within XP? specifically bulk check-in?

-we are having some issues with bulk checking-in sub folders within sub folders in XP as well as other issues in reference  to lifecycles and automatically updating the revision scheme.

PDM works 2005 sp3.1 and XP pro

RE: PDM with windows XP

No problems here with those versions.
When check-in, make sure you are going to correct folders, rev's are in correct order per lifecycle, and you own them.

This is not for checking in files that allready exist in the vault, I am talking about using bulk check-in from vault admin tool for initial check-in of legacy SW documents (hundreds to thousands) that do not reside in the vault.

documents do not check in.

RE: PDM with windows XP

Are you running service pack 2 of Windows XP?

RE: PDM with windows XP

Don't forget about patches on your server.  Depending on what version MS server you are running, there are specific hot fixes that should be done.  See the solidworks support site for the details.

PDMAdmin & SolidsMaster are correct. Check the updates and patches, it may fix your problem. Several months back there was a fix for Win XP that fixed some errors with PDMW.
