Can anyone perhaps give me advice on how to ground HDPE piping. The application is a acid line.

RE: HDPE pipe grounding

HDPE is not conductive so grounding wires cannot be installed.  However, HDPE pipe does build up static charges, which need to be discharged during construction operations.  A temporary grounding station can be established by wrapping the pipe generously with wet rags that have been soaked in a saline solution.  The rags must be in contact with both the pipe and the ground.  If a pipe section is to be cut out, temporary grounding stations need to be established on each side of the cut out section.
