Where to buy Wideband LNA?

Where to buy Wideband LNA?

Where to buy Wideband LNA?

(OP)
I am looking for a (possibly 2nd hand) low noise amplifier but  am finding difficult to find one which is wideband (6-18GHz).  I've found several vendors but none carried the wideband LNA I need.

Any clue would be greatly appreciated.

Triunvirato.

RE: Where to buy Wideband LNA?

You did not indicate the gain or noise figure you need which usually determine the choices. Additionally, are you looking for LNA chip or module?

For a chip, the Hittite HMC516 is rated 7 to 17 GHz, but does 6 to 18 GHz with a little less gain at the extremes. However, building one yourself at this frequency is something you don't do unless you know what you are doing and have the equipment necessary.

For modules, there are companies like MITEQ or Ciao Wireless that make these devices for the high-end commercial and military markets.
