Schools that offer Pro/Engineer

Schools that offer Pro/Engineer

(OP)
Hi Folks,

I am starting a list of schools around the world who offer Pro/Engineer to their students.

This list is useful for:

-Companies looking to recruit grads from schools who can use Pro/E
-Professionals who are looking for Continuing Education courses which teach Pro/Engineer
-Companies looking to have an influence on the curriculum of local Colleges and Universities, increasing the overall quality of the emerging workforce.

As for formatting, please try and include:

Name of School
Major City, State or Province, Country
School website

And any information about the courses that offer Pro/E. This includes Full-Time stream courses (i.e. Part of a 3 or 4 year diploma or degree program) or Continuing Education courses (i.e. Night School courses or Weekend Courses).

Any other useful information that would indicate an experienced Pro/E user base in the school (i.e. Pro/E installed in the labs, teams at the school using Pro/E).

I can offer 2 examples:

-----------------------
George Brown College
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
http://www.gbrownc.on.ca/

Full Time programs:
Mechanical Engineering Technology program offers 6 courses geared towards PTC software.
-Eng. Design 1
-Mechatronics 1/2
-Advanced CADD 1/2
-Finite Element Analysis

Part-Time programs:
-Pro/Engineer 1 and 2 offered Saturdays through Continuing Education department.

-----------------------------

University of Toronto (FSAE team)
Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Formula SAE Racing team utilizes Pro/E and Pro/Mechanica in the design of their competition race car. I have worked personally with them and can speak volumes about the level of skill on the team.

RE: Schools that offer Pro/Engineer

I don't have all the details but I think it's a great idea;

New Mexico State University
Las Cruces, New Mexico

University of New Mexico
Albuquerque, New Mexico

University of Nebraska
Lincoln, Nebraska

RE: Schools that offer Pro/Engineer

Worcester Polytechnic Institute
Worcester, MA USA
www.wpi.edu/

Pro/E is widely used in the Mechanical and Manufacturing dept's.  There are 2 undergraduate CAD classes that use Pro/E as the software package and a graduate class and  Students typically use Pro/E and Pro/Mechanica for senior design projects, including the FSAE team. In the past Pro/Manufacture has been taught as part of a CAM class and used to program HAAS CNC machines.

I believe it's mandatory for all ME undergrads to take this CAD class that uses ProE.

Hope this helps!
