Pressure Relieve Valve Source

Pressure Relieve Valve Source

(OP)
Hi, Where could I find a pressure relieve valve with setting 15-25 psi (for air)?
Thanks,

RE: Pressure Relieve Valve Source

Farris, Crosby, Anderson-Greenwood would be some for conventional relief valves.

Some more information would get you better answers (service, required flow, etc).

Kunkle, Consolidated, Conbraco, Hydroseal are also manufacturers.  Most have assembler networks with multiple locations around USA.  Assekmblers stock valves and can set them for your required pressure. Many times with faster delivery than the manufacturer.  Especially for small quantities of standard designs and common fluids like air , steam & water.  www.nationalboard.org has a publication, NB-18, Pressure Relief Device Certifications which lists all the ASME Manufacturers and Assemblers.

If you call a valve distributor and ask for a valve for that range, the first thing they are going to ask you is "what size?".  If you don't know that, you'll need to tell them the required flowrate and temperature so they can calculate the size.  Then you'll need to tell them the connections: Screwed or flanged.  ASME VIII says that air valves (Air, steam, and water hotter than 140F) need a lifting lever, so be sure you get a lever so you will be code-compliant.  On a low-pressure valve like this you will have the choice of brass, iron,  steel, or stainless valves.
