(OP)
ok well hello, i have recently got solid edge but recently ran into a problem, the reason why i got solid edge was to get better with cad so i could get a job but recently iv been lost for ideas of what to model so i wondered if any of you guys/gals could list some of you earlier projects and what would be even more helpful is if you would a little brief of how you made it

Thanks,
Fudge

(oh one more thing, how is solid edge for modeling organic things i.e human hands/heads ect not important, just i always wondered)

RE: New and need idea's

Hi Fudge,
Welcome to the forum.
If you are new to Solid Edge, first thing to do is work through the tutorials.
You will find them under Help > Tutorials.
These will give you a good start, and it's something a lot of people miss.
As for a 'project' - just pick up an everyday object, measure it and try to model it, a telephone for example.

For tutorials and tips on surfacing and most other things have a look atTushar Suradkar's site at htttp://www.geocities.com/segurucool
