Bio Gas cleaning to pipeline quality ( H2S & CO2 Removal )

Bio Gas cleaning to pipeline quality ( H2S & CO2 Removal )

(OP)
Hi all,

What a great set of forums, I've plied my trade (automation) for 15 years without knowing this existed. Could have used this many times.

On to my question.

Bio-Gas flow of 1.1 MMCFD
Source pressure 3psi

Wet / Sour Gas
60% Methane
40% CO2
H2S between 15 and 8 PPM
Siloxanes ~ trace levels

I imagine that an iron sponge will knock out most of the H2S and some active carbon filters will catch most of the Siloxanes.

CO2, can I scrub the gas with water through a typical scrubber media ( bucky balls ) at a pressure of 150psi. Will the CO2 be absorbed by the water? At a CO2 flow of 320 scfm, what water flow would I need?

The plan calls for pressurization for CO2 scrubbing, if an alternative exists without having to spend electricity to to step up from 3psi to 150psi it would be beneficial.

Thanks !

Just to clarify the flow is 1,100,000 SF per day
