RE: inventor shutting down

riggerdigger...

If the part or assembly has features that take more memory to display Inventor will close when it tries to open it. Try setting the graphics to use the Open GL driver. Then try to open the part again. If it does open it, it means your graphics card or it's driver need updating/upgrading.

Failing that...the file could be corrupt.

RE: inventor shutting down

I am using Inventor 10, and I have modeled a part and wish to create an idw.  However, when I select "new" then chose the idw file, inventor shuts down and offers me the option to submit and error report.  Any ideas?  I'm running a P4, w/ 1GB of ram if that is any use.

Thanks,
sds
