Perma-Pipe Experience

Perma-Pipe Experience

Perma-Pipe Experience

(OP)
We are looking for info on experience with the prefabricated, preinsulated Perma-Pipe steam piping, in particular with the Multi-therm 500. Also, what is the maximum temperature and pressure for steam service?

RE: Perma-Pipe Experience

The carrier pipe can be pretty much whatever it needs to be, in order meet whatever the pressure & temperaturesc conditions are. My experience is that the weak link in this type of system, are the field joints for the insulation jackets.
