We are workig on a Low Temp job where in the customer has refused to accept typical certs for the GTAW wire ( ER 80 S Ni2). They want the actual values per heat #( i.e Chemical, Tensile and X-Ray as per ASME Sec II PArt C).

Can anyone tell me who can supply the wire with actual certification in California or in the US .

RE: Low Temperature welding wire,

This should not be a problem for any manufacturer but may prove so with a "repackager". Order the material with appropriate certified materials test reports. I have obtained them from ESAB, Bohler-Thyssen, Techalloy and other manufacturers without a problem but not without added expense.

RE: Low Temperature welding wire,

Or run your own tests.  Make sure the supplier can get you the qty you need of that particular heat/lot first, though.
