evaporator, condensor, compressor matching

(OP)
hi

where can I find guideline on the selection/ matching of condensor coils, evaporators and compressors?
is there perhaps something in ASHRAE?

RE: evaporator, condensor, compressor matching

The first step is to arrive at the cooling load in the space which will provide the load and the coil apparatus dew point required to achieve the required indoor conditions of temperature and humidity. This will enable you to slect teh evaporator/air-handling unit. This selection will deliver the refrigerant temperature required in teh cooling coil which will then enable you to select teh compressor based on and expected condensing temperature. After selecting the compresor you will then need to select the condenser for the heat rejection and the condensing temperature assumed in the selection of the compressor.
