which cares should be taken during the storage of stainless steels ? (in factories where you can find different kind of materials such as cabon and alloysteel)
how to prevent sulphur absorption?

RE: stainless steel storage

There is no such thing as sulfur absorption, it is only surface contamination.
You want to prevent physical contact with other metals.  Pick-up of copper or iron can cause serious porblems.
You want to avoid any corrosion.  Don't let the birds roost on the material.
Put it in racks and cover with tarps, should last forever.

Corrosion never sleeps, but it can be managed.

RE: stainless steel storage

In addition to preventing physical contact with metals, care should be taken against likely sources of minerals coming in contact, in particular, chlorides. Mineral wools, insulation materials etc (especially when wet) could initiate corrosion.

Many times grinding dust, people walking on plates etc. also causes contamination.

Therefore, the best way is to provide plastic covers that prevent direct contact with "anything".
