Machine-tool accuracy standards

Machine-tool accuracy standards

(OP)
We are in the process of evaluating CNC machine-tools in terms of its positioning accuracy and repeatability. Unfortunately different manufacturers quote different standards like VDI/DGQ 3441, DIN/ISO 230-2 97 etc. Can anyone tell me or point me to a web site where I can have a look at how these standards actaully differ?

RE: Machine-tool accuracy standards

Try www.cncci.com (the Mike Lynch site).  He may have a link to a site with this info.
