UG Tech Tips - Web Learning

(OP)
Just wondering where does everyone go on the web to learn about Unigraphics (tips and other information)?  Any good forums and groups beside this one?  As a somewhat new user, I am always looking to learn more.  I have learned from this group, the groups at the EDS site, and by using CAST.  It seems like there are more groups and forums for other software and not quite as many for UG?

RE: UG Tech Tips - Web Learning

I think you have already found the best sites.  I am also curious about anymore good ones.

Membership is free & the website has a forum for all types of UG & I-deas questions.

PLM World also has volunteer technical committees (TC) that work on product enhancements with UGS development.  The TC's are responsible for trimming down the Enhancement Requests (ER's) that appear on the Customer Improvement Process (CIP) ballots that some of you may have seen in the past (either online or via snail mail), where you voted on the ER.  Working on the TC gives a user great insight into what is coming in the future of NX long before most users hear about it.  Plus, TC members can also push certain things to the forefront in order to bring attention to a particular area where NX is lacking.  Members can also enter ER's on the PLM World website (I believe ER's are currently being accepted for NX5).

The Modeling & Assemblies TC was directly responsible for the Modeled Text functionality that UG now has.  We supplied all of the criteria that the feature will have up to the release of NX4....yes, it's finally here, associative modeled text will appear as a model feature starting in NX4.
