Problems w/DT & Excel Sheets allowed?

Problems w/DT & Excel Sheets allowed?

(OP)
I keep getting the error message "no valid design sheet found" except when I open the design sheet in a separate window, then it recognizes it and works fine.  Does anyone know why?  I am using an excel file with several sheets (each sheet a separate Design Table), is this a problem?  I know the DT is setup right because it works when opened in a separate window.  I'm using v2003.  Thanks for any advice.

RE: Problems w/DT & Excel Sheets allowed?

Make sure that you have "Family" written for name box for the cell A2 on all your sheets.
In additon check that you have a emty row under your configuration name.

RE: Problems w/DT & Excel Sheets allowed?

You have to have Sheet 1 active, when you close the DT in the file. Otherwise you will get that error.
