Folding A1 Paper into a lever arch file

Folding A1 Paper into a lever arch file

Folding A1 Paper into a lever arch file

(OP)
Does anyone have a method for folding A1 size paper so that there is one A4 side protruding, which is then hole punched and put into aa A4 size lever arch file.

The A1 drawing can then be accessed by simply folding out the drawing, and not have to remove it from the ring binder file.  This in my view is easier then having lots of plastic folders.

Looking forward to any suggestions.

Thanks

RE: Folding A1 Paper into a lever arch file

One thing that I can sugesst to you is filing strips, they are a self adhesive pre-punched strip that you can attach to one egde of your folded A1 drawing - or any document or magaazine that you may not which to whole punch or use plastic pockets. It may require folding the A1 slightly different, I once knew of two differnt ways, but for the life of me can't think of the second way which I think would work in this situation.

We have an automatic folder for our drawings as they are printed. The configurations you can pick are fairly large. Here is a link to give you some ideas for folding...
