Explode Line Sketch not suppressing based on part state.

Explode Line Sketch.
When a part is suppressed, why isn’t the Exploded line sketch associated with that part also suppressed? I am creating a master exploded assembly file that suppresses and unsuppressed parts based on inputs selected in the design table. We have so many different combinations of accessories, so making a separate assembly configuration is not feasible. Has anyone run into this issue before?

RE: Explode Line Sketch not suppressing based on part state.

Probably because the Explode sketch line is a child of the part, since you probably picked a point, line, etc... on the part. If you don't want it to be a child of the part then you cannot make a relationship to the part. Then again you wouldn't get a good Explode line if it wasn't referencing the part.

RE: Explode Line Sketch not suppressing based on part state.

My problem is that it is not suppressing when the parent is suppressed. So in other words the part gets suppressed, now there is an explode line that goes off into basically nothing. I could deal with this if I could find the sketch for the Exploded Line to put in my design table for controling the state of the Exploded Line Sketch .

RE: Explode Line Sketch not suppressing based on part state.

My bad, I mis read your statement.

The line that is used to make an Explode line is control in the configuration and not by the part(s). You must hide the sketch line under the cooresponding configuration that the Explode exists in. Simply suppressing the part will not hide the component.
