Hello Ansys Professionals,

I´m having a problem to define loads or simulate a real capacitor field in my Volume. The behaviour of this volume is like air and the discs of the capacitor extend into this volume. I have tried out several things, but the solver is telling me always that i have not set any constraints. Can anyone help? I want to apply the load an the areas 22,27,12,17 and 4 in the geometry.

The volume consists of 7 separate volumes in order to achieve a structured mesh for this geometry. I think here is the root of all my problems. I have already calculated this problem in a one-volume unstructured mesh and received realistic results.

Have you checked your constraints like the solver says? How did you split up the geometry into separate volumes? Are they entirely separate, or do they share a common area (they will need to be)? If they're separate, try gluing the volumes together, or try redrawing the volume and then using the divide booleans operation > by workplane. This will give you what you need I think.
