add a part to available be available as a Smart Fastener

I have modelled a nut that I often use and would like to have it available as a Smart Fastener.
I can't see any way to add a new Smart Fastener to the available list?
Is this possible?
Thanks...
Phil

RE: add a part to available be available as a Smart Fastener

Hi PhilLee,

Just use the "ADD MY PARTS WIZARD" in the Toolbox pull down menu...and follow the instruction.  If you want to insert it in one of the standard area select the one you want, or else create a new name for your new area.

Have fun

I'll try that...
Does this make it available in Smart Fasteners?

ok I added the following parts with the wizard...

AN3 through AN20 bolts (complete with configuration table with all available diameters, lengths, etc...)
AN960 washer (also with configuration table)
MS20365 self locking nut

They are all visable under Tools, Options, System Options, Data Options, Edit Data Standards under the appropriate heading (bolts, washers, nuts).

However when I insert a Smart Fastener they are not available from the list.

What now?

Phil
