SVM vs. SWPWM

SVM vs. SWPWM

SVM vs. SWPWM

(OP)
Hello friends,
I've been looking into different algorithms for DSP control of the IGBT gates.  The SVM, along with other advantages such as lower THD, theoretically provides voltages up to DC rail voltage, whereas the SWPWM could only provide around 85%.  There is even newer algorithms outlined in recent reasearch papers, etc.  I wanted to know what is the most widely used algorithm in the industry right now and why, and if SVM is being used widely already.
