UG CAM---CORNER

UG CAM---CORNER

UG CAM---CORNER

(OP)
I am using powerful UG NX2 CAM and in my toolpaths while using corner slowdown, if the toolpath corners twice and the length of the toolpath between these two corners is smaller than the percent tool length that I entered, I found out that the speed doesn't slowdown in between these corners and tool enters the second corner at cut feedrate. I dont want to give percent tool length smaller than what I entered. Is there an adjustment for achiving paths having slowdown feeds in between?
Thank you very much.

RE: UG CAM---CORNER

Could you not just use a custom feed rate for the toolpath between the corners?

Thanks but I forgot to write to the post that I encountered this in cavity milling operation type.

RE: UG CAM---CORNER

I think your choices are to either reduce the corner percentage (which you don't want to) or avoid those corners for a another operation to just finish those corners at the reduced feedrate.

CavityMill is pretty spiffy but there is a bit of compromise with it.
