Block centermarks, how to get rid of them.

Block centermarks, how to get rid of them.

Block centermarks, how to get rid of them.

(OP)
I often cut and paste geometry from one drawing into another.(R14) A lot of times I get the crossmarks on the new block after insertion. I think this may have something to do with nested blocks, not sure.

The only way to get rid of them is to explode the block, erase the crossmarks, and recreate the block. Very tedious.

Anyone know if there is a system variable that shuts them off. If not, what am I doing incorrect that this happens.

Hope you understand my problem.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Block centermarks, how to get rid of them.

If by "crossmarks" you mean "point", you can change your point style (FORMAT>>POINT STYLE) to invisible and they will not display.

Or, try PDMODE set to 0 or PDSIZE set to 0
If these are in associative dimensions, adjust the centermark to "none" in the DDIm dialog.
