Crude Tower Flash Zone

(OP)
Anybody has any idea of the recommended minimum distance between the crude tower feed inlet and the upper tray in the flash zone?, Where could I find this information?

Thanks.

RE: Crude Tower Flash Zone

see lieberman's book or give him a call.  If you have any pride however, try a literature search first.
Norm tends to be a little short.

RE: Crude Tower Flash Zone

TomX you could also call Paul Steacy at UOP he does all their column design work and was or is the president of FRI.  He would probably tell you if you ask nicely.
