2-part adhesive systems - meter/mix applications

2-part adhesive systems - meter/mix applications

Does anyone know of any "secret" or little known meter/mix builders?  Talking to the big names in this field - they just want to keep selling me the same machine every 5 years but they never work properly...hopefully there is something out there.  Also, variable shot size is important.

RE: 2-part adhesive systems - meter/mix applications

I do not know what a "meter/mix builder" is, but I do know of a new and little known hand-held cordless power tool for dispensing 2-part adhesive systems that has variable shot size (adjusted by a knob).  Does this sound like what you need?  I have a lot more to say, but this website does not allow promoting or selling.  Are you using cartridges or sausages?  What size (volume, length, and diameter) mixing ratio, and center distance?

thanks-

A meter/mix machine is one that takes two components (resin and catalyst) pumps them from bulk containers, mixes them together at ratio and delivers an accurate shot size.  There are a few big names in this field but I am fed up with their leaky, high maintenance machines.  I would like to persue more internal gear style machines - these are more maintenance friendly...

The cordless tool that I was describing mixes at a specific ratio and delivers a shot of adjustable size, but it dispenses from cartridges or sausages, not directly from bulk containers.  To make it work with bulk containers, you would need to pump the components from the bulk containers to the cartridges of the hand-held tool before you used the hand-held tool to mix them and to meter the dispensing.  This might work, but doing it well would require some thought and some R&D.  Is your need unique or is this an untapped niche market?
