move PDMWorks Vault
move PDMWorks Vault
(OP)
We have recently made some changes to our network (including the machine which is our PDMWorks vault server) and I am having issues getting our vault service started after the changes.
The vault still resides on the same physical machine, but the machine has a new host name. I've seen a document on the SWX website stating that I need a new reg code in order to get the vault running again, but I'm wondering whether this still applies because it says to request a new reg code by sending an e-mail to a designsourcetech.com address. Does anyone know if I am going to need a new reg code?
I've placed a call to our VAR, but I haven't heard back yet and I'm wondering if there are other things I can be trying in the mean time.
Thanks,
Dave Gowans

RE: move PDMWorks Vault
It sounds like you're running stand-alone PDMWorks licenses; is that correct? If so, you are right; you'll need a new reg code to start the server.
