sulfur tank

sulfur tank

(OP)
A spherical tank with conical roof is used in a sulfur recovery unit. It stores molten sulfur. I have a question about the sulfur inlet. Does it need a dip tube? If so, why? Why cant we just pour molten sulfur into the tank? What measures are taken to avoid caking of sulfur in tank? I guess some of the nozzles on the tank need to be jacketed (jackets with steam inlet and condensate outlet) Can someone direct me to a website which gives some detailed information about nozzle jacketing?
