I am looking for a description of the Humphrey cycle. It is sopposed to combine the best features of the Otto and Brayton Cycle into one.
Approximate version are the Miller cycle (mazda) and other marine engines.
The Miller cycle places some of the compression load on the supercharger and some on the piston.
Would it be correct that the Humphrey cycle places all of the compression load on the compressor turbine/supercharger?

That is coincidentally the solicitation which I am writing a proposal for .  We have a novel, positive displacement rotary device which completes all four cycles simultaneously .  
It is similar in concept to a positive displacement turbine.  this mode of operation is a brayton cycle .  

The CP burn can also be broken up into pulses of power which is distributed over multiple power strokes .  So what kind of cycle is this ?  Humphrey ?

I've been looking into the solicitation as well.  It seems to me that they are basically talking about the run-of-the-mill engine concept with a supercharger or turbocharger added into the mix.  That doesn't seem too ground-breaking to me, but I'm sure the technical point-of-contact would clear it up a little better.  Most of the solicitations (even the Stirling cycle programs) seem to be just asking for quieter, lighter, more efficient standard engine designs.  Your positive displacement design sounds pretty cool though.  I hope that helps.
