Workbench input to ansys

(OP)
Hi Everyone
I 'm very beginner ansys user and I'm trying to import a model from (ansys workbench) to ansys but it takes only the nodes from the simulation enviroment. Also I can't understand what is the use of the CFX mesh if i can't import the meshed model to simulation or to ansys for analysis.

Thank you

RE: Workbench input to ansys

I'm trying to spot which question(s) you're trying to ask, so here goes. Yes, you're right, if you transfer your model from WB to ANSYS, it takes only the finite element information. Information on the geometry is not taken over. This is because WB uses the CDWRITE command (see the help file). CFX is used as a mesher for fluid dynamics problems (CFD).
