Error when starting ProE winthin Intralink

(OP)
Hello everyone,

A user gets the following error message when she starts ProE within Intranlink:

"Cannot connect to PTC Name Service. Please ensure that it has been started".

The problem started after a network upgrade(from Novell to Windows 2003 server).

Any idea??

Thank you in advance,
Cadmous

Hi Cadmous,

You need to contact a knowledgeable user in your office.

Look on the users computer for the nmsd.exe process. You may need to redfine the license server name in the .psf file.

"Wildfires are dangerous, hard to control, and economically catastrophic."
"Fixed in the next release" should replace "Product First" as the PTC slogan.
