Cross Referencing Water Boilers

Cross Referencing Water Boilers

Cross Referencing Water Boilers

(OP)
I need to replace an old water boiler with a new one. I have a model number but not a manufacturers name of the old boiler. I would like to know if there is a website that will provide me with a manufacturers name by typing the model number?

Any response will be greatly appreciated!

RE: Cross Referencing Water Boilers

You could try google ;)

I tried Google. I need something more specific.

RE: Cross Referencing Water Boilers

Have you checked the actual load on the boiler? Very often, what was originally installed, wasn't right, or if it was right, things have changed significantly. A good deal of the time, what's sitting there now is WAY oversized.

RE: Cross Referencing Water Boilers

Is there a national board number on it? Or a CRN if you are in Canada - you could probably corss reference it with that information.

RE: Cross Referencing Water Boilers

The boiler manufacturers that I am familiar with have very specialized numbering systems.  You could try contacting a specific manufacturer and either they will try to sell you one of theirs or give you the correct manufacturer.

you can put info on the request post and may get a response,
