Parametric Revision Block sans Intralink

Parametric Revision Block sans Intralink

Parametric Revision Block sans Intralink

(OP)
I would like to show on all of my drawings each rev symbol, rev description, and rev date in WF2, w/o just creating a 10 row table in my formats.  I do not use Intralink, nor do I know if it would be of help.

Currently I am trying to create a parametric table that would be defined by the number of revisions for the drawing, and would show the corresponding information.  This is not looking possibly.  I have no preference as to how I achieve this, so any ideas would be much appreciated.

RE: Parametric Revision Block sans Intralink

Hello,

You can create a parameter and call it REV or Revision.  You will manually have to update this.  On the Drawing you &REV of &Revision in the tables you require them, this will update parametrically.  Just to let you know, in Intralink you still have to manually change the rev of parts and drawings to have it update on the drawings.

Note: if you have rev block you should not use &rev function because this will change every revision to the current rev.  Just to clarify the Rev Block revision should not be parametric.
