Can ayone advise what the major differences between the API 598 and DIN 3230 part 3 for valve testing are? Is the DIN standard more onerous?

DIN 3230-3 is no longer valid, it was replaced by EN 12266.
Generally API 598 allows much bigger leakage rates.
