Can anyone recomend a good training book.
I have taken a basic class and want to learn more by myself so when I go to the next advanced class i'll have some good questions.

RE: Top down assembly - need training book/recource

When I was in the market as you are, I found that there weren't a whole lot of books to choose from.  It may have improved since then (about 2 years ago).  I went through the tutorial that ships with Solidworks, then a book called "Designing Parts with Solidworks", and then one called "Inside Solidworks" by David Murray, which I found covered much more of the tool, although not nearly all of it.  I also highly recommend attending your local user's group, and frequenting sites like this one.
