High current wire to board connector

High current wire to board connector

(OP)
Hi all,

I'm into a high-power (5kW) DC/DC converter design. I need to find a way to properly bring all this current onto the power circuit PCB. The input side is ~200A@25V and the output is ~100A@50V.

Any idea about how I can connect the input and output wires on the PCB?

Thanks,

Alex

RE: High current wire to board connector

Generally you use solder type terminal blocks and jumper several of them together per leg.

Where are you going to get a PCB that can carry 200A?

In fact, there isn't a single trace that carry all the current. The current is carried in a bus bar and then splitted in 8 on the PCB.
