I came across this interesting software, aPriori (www.apriori.com), when I was at the PTC/User conference recently. It will compute costs for components directly off of Pro/ENGINEER parts. Seems slick.

RE: Cost analysis with Pro/E

Matt, have you used the software yet?  Is it shareware? I went to dl a datasheet, the only link you can get to from the products page and the phishers collected my personal info then looped me back to their homepage.  seems a touch fishy.. is it sanctioned by pro-e?  thanks much!

Not a user yet; looking into it. Definitely not share-ware! Software like this is very expensive to develop. I met them at the PTC/User conference and they won the "Innovative Software Partner of the Year" by PTC. Very surprised you had a problem at their site. I suggest contact their webmaster.

RE: Cost analysis with Pro/E

Their credentials sound great, tho i did experience trouble with their website layout.  do you know if a shareware exists?

They seem to be targeting enterprise users, not just individual Pro/E users. There is no shareware as far as I can tell.
