Can Stainless Steel bolts be used in slip critical connections?

RE: Slip Critical bolts

I wouldn't mix inox bolts with structural steel since it could make more probable the corrosion of the pressed parts. The exact answer should be tabulated, since there are so much environments, structural steels and inoxidable steels.

RE: Slip Critical bolts

Yes, they can be used provided strength, hardness, and tightening requirements can be met.  Corrosion is not an issue.

is there a reference that I can use that will validate this position?
