Hi there, is anybody able to advise me on how to isolate and set the unused aux bits within the aes3 data stream (to facilitate remote control of a device) thankyou

RE: aes ebu auxiliary data

A first pass at this (I have been out of the business for a few yours so I do not know what the 3 in aes3 is).  In the older AES/EBU you would use a Crystal Semi. part to get the data.  Then modify the bits you wanted, then send them out the Crystal transmitter.  That still might be the easiest solution.
