(OP)
I am looking for a thermoplastic elastomer for gaskets in high temperature applications. The requirements are :
* Shore A around 40-50
* Compression set at 120°C maximum 20-30% (comparable to Silicone Rubber)
* suitable for injection molding
* no crosslinking in a secondary step (e.g. radiation crosslinking)

We do not want to use Silicone Rubber for various reasons. We tried Santoprene and various types of SEBS but they don't work (comression set at 120°C too high). Any ideas?

RE: High-temperature TPE

Synprene From a company called PolyOne has worked for us in auto grommetts, I'm not sure about the temp char. but they might be able to help. Way better compression set than Santoprene.
