Is there an easy way to take a file that we currently have on a library and signify that it has already been checked?

If we copy it to our job and then alter it, we also need it to show up that it was altered.  This would keep our check process down to a minimum.

As of right now the checkers are checking every single purchased item even though it hasn't been changed in years.

Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Part Library Checked box

That's the way I do it, with PDMW.
If you have SW Professional, it can be done with eDrawings.

Thanks guys for the info.  We don't have pdmworks but I am curious as to what you meant when you can do it with edrawings.
