Creating Seed files

Creating Seed files

(OP)
We are using Team Center. How can I modify the seed files that are used when creating a new spec or part file? Where would they be kept on the server so that everyone gets the same seed file?

Thanks,

RE: Creating Seed files

It doesn't matter so much where they are kept, as long as all of the ugii_env files point to the correct location.

I looked through the entire UGII_ENV.DAT file. Can you tell me what setting I should look for?

Thanks,

Colin - IT guy trying to administer Global Team Center

RE: Creating Seed files

Sorry, I answered thinking it was about pattern files.  As far as seed files, we keep ours in the same protected directory as our pattern files.  The users simply have to know where to find it.  I'm not sure how to work it using TC, as we are running native.
