SolidWorks bug for mirrored tapped hole?
SolidWorks bug for mirrored tapped hole?
(OP)
SW2005 SP3.1
1. Create a part with a tapped hole showing cosmetic thread (use hole wizard).
2. Mirror the part.
3. Create a 2D drawing of the mirrored part.
4. Use "Hole Callout" to dimension the tapped hole.
In my case it doesn't work properly. Instead of the description of the tapped hole I get the min diameter.
I use metric dimensions with ANSI standard. In the original part the hole callout works properly.
This has been happening since the Hole Callout was introduced (SW2003). With every new SP or release of SW, I hopped this will be fixed.

If you don't turn it in then you can't complain about it.
