Hi to all,

For the revamp of a fertilizer/ammonia plant, I have some pipes with design conditions 228Barg @ 450°C(syngas). Because of the high hydrogen pressure, I use stainless steel. Is it possible to find seamless stainless steel pipes 16"x42mm and 24"x65mm according ASTM A312(304)? Or do I have to go to A358 or centrifugally casted pipe? Is the casted material as reliable?
And what about the according fittings?

So, if someone has experience with these large wall thickness, I would appreciate your opinions.

Thanks in advance.
