Hi I want to use the mesure tool but the value is in decimal. It's possible to set the value of the mesure in fractionnal ?

RE: mesuring tool

you can change length units to FEET,INCH,FRACTION and that will display length measurements in fractions.

(BEWARE: if you do this, all inputs will be in FEET,INCH,FRACTION also! If you make a line .5 long, it will be 6 inches (1/2 foot). You have to add " behind .5 to make it 1/2 inch. Or change units back to INCHES)

RE: mesuring tool

Hi,

go to tools / options / General / Parameter and Measure // Units : Length = Feet, inch , Fraction (1/16)

That should work.

RE: mesuring tool

Sorry for not including the path. (I thought everyone learned how to change units in the first day of CATIA training)

Thanks, Eric, for clarifying this
